Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL): More than 1,400 reference e-books, plus every Gale information database at Multnomah County Library.

Internet Archive: It offers permanent access for researchers, historians, scholars, people with disabilities, and the general public to historical collections that exist in digital format. Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in their collections.
ManyBooks.Net: This free directory website offers over 20,000 e-books in many different formats.
Open Culture: Open Culture brings together high-quality cultural & educational media for the worldwide lifelong learning community. Free audio books, free online courses, free movies, free language lessons, free ebooks and other enriching content — it’s all here.
Project Gutenberg: Project Gutenberg is the first and largest single collection of free e-books. Most of the over 38,000 titles in the collection are full-text of public domain books. There is also an audiobook collection.
